Fischer SDS+ Drill Bit 8 mm, 310 mm
The Fischer SDS+ drill bit with an 8 mm diameter and 310 mm total length is a professional-grade tool engineered for high-performance drilling in concrete and masonry. Designed for seamless compatibility with rotary hammers featuring an SDS+ chuck system, this drill bit ensures efficient material removal and precise hole geometry. Its robust construction is tailored to withstand the rigors of demanding construction and renovation environments, providing consistent results when working with hard building materials.
This drill bit features a specialized geometry that facilitates rapid dust extraction, significantly reducing friction and heat buildup during operation. The high-quality carbide tip ensures exceptional durability and resistance to wear, even when encountering reinforced concrete or dense masonry. By maintaining structural integrity under high impact forces, the bit allows for stable and accurate drilling, which minimizes the risk of hole deviation and enhances overall work efficiency.
This drill bit is not intended for use with standard drill chucks that do not support the SDS+ system. It is also not recommended for drilling into metal, wood, or ceramic tiles, as the percussion-focused design may damage these materials or result in poor finish quality.
Insert the drill bit into the SDS+ chuck of your rotary hammer until it clicks into place, ensuring it is securely locked. Before starting, mark the desired drilling location clearly. Position the tip of the drill bit against the surface and apply steady, moderate pressure while the tool is running. Allow the drill bit to perform the cutting action without forcing it, and periodically retract the bit from the hole to clear out accumulated dust, especially when drilling to the full depth of 310 mm.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety goggles and hearing protection, when operating a rotary hammer. Ensure the drill bit is cool before handling it immediately after use, as it may become hot during operation.
