Fischer 531831 Brad Point Drill Bit 16 mm
The Fischer SDS Plus II Pointer 16/550/600 is a high-performance hammer drill bit engineered for creating precise, approval-compliant holes in concrete, masonry, and natural stone. Featuring a 16 mm diameter and a robust design, this tool integrates advanced geometry to ensure efficient drilling performance. The inclusion of Power Breaker technology creates micro-cracks in the material, significantly increasing drilling speed, while the specialized centering tip ensures accurate spot drilling without surface slippage.
The drill bit features an optimized geometry that facilitates rapid drilling progress while minimizing tool wear and user effort. Its robust Power Breaker design effectively breaks through concrete, leading to noticeably faster results. The enlarged reinforcement chamfers are specifically designed to reduce the risk of the bit jamming when encountering steel reinforcements within concrete. Furthermore, the two-flute Vario KVS helix ensures optimal dust removal, which contributes to a longer service life and more efficient energy transfer during operation. The PGM certification guarantees that every hole created meets the strict requirements for secure anchor and fixing installations.
This drill bit is specifically designed for hammer drilling in mineral materials and is not suitable for drilling into metal, wood, or plastic. Using this tool on materials other than concrete, masonry, or stone may result in poor performance or damage to the bit.
Insert the drill bit into the SDS Plus chuck of your rotary hammer drill, ensuring it is securely locked in place. Position the centering tip at the desired drilling location and apply steady, moderate pressure while the drill is running. Maintain a perpendicular angle to the surface to ensure a straight hole. Allow the Vario KVS helix to clear the drilling dust continuously by periodically pulling the bit slightly out of the hole during deep drilling operations. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment during use.
For the best results and to extend the lifespan of the drill bit, avoid applying excessive force, as the Power Breaker geometry is designed to do the work for you. Ensure the drill bit is allowed to cool down if performing continuous, heavy-duty drilling in reinforced concrete.
