Fischer DUOPOWER 5 x 25 LD dowels are multi-function plastic anchors designed for reliable fastening in a wide range of base materials. The two-component design combines a high-quality grey nylon element that automatically activates the appropriate function for the substrate (expansion, folding or knotting) and a red expansion-wing element that supports secure anchoring. How to use

Drill a hole of 5 mm diameter to at least the minimum drill depth of 35 mm, clean the hole of dust, and insert the Fischer DUOPOWER dowel flush with the surface. Use a suitable wood, chipboard or stud screw; the required screw length equals plug length plus fixture thickness plus one screw diameter. For through-fixing, push the dowel through the fixture into the hole; for pre-positioned fixing, place the dowel in the hole before the fixture. Drive the screw until the dowel function (expansion, folding or knotting) engages and the fixture is secured; avoid over-tightening.

Usage recommendations

Use screws with a suitable diameter for 5 mm anchors and ensure the threadless part of the screw is not longer than the fixture when fixing boards. Select screw length according to plug length + fixture thickness + screw diameter to achieve optimal load performance.
