Wall plug Fischer DuoPower 100 pc(s) 50 mm
The fischer DuoPower wall plug is a two-component nylon anchor designed for reliable fixation in a wide range of building materials. With a 6 mm diameter and 50 mm length, this pack of 100 plugs delivers stable anchoring and consistent performance across solid and hollow substrates. The grey component adapts its function (expansion, folding or knotting) to the substrate while the red expansion wings provide additional support. A preshaped rim on the plug head prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole.
The two-component construction provides high load values by automatically activating the optimal function for the material. The plug gives clear tactile feedback during installation so you can feel when it is seated correctly. A narrow rim prevents the plug from slipping into the hole and serrated anti-rotation ribs stop the plug turning during installation. Increased anchorage depth improves performance in hollow building materials, aerated concrete and where plaster needs to be bridged.
Drill a hole with the correct diameter (6 mm) and depth for the 50 mm plug plus fixture thickness. Clean the hole from dust. Insert the fischer DuoPower plug flush with the surface; the preshaped rim prevents slipping into the hole. Use the recommended screw length (plug length + fixture thickness + 1× screw diameter) and drive the screw in until the plug seats and you feel the plug close—avoid over-tightening. The product is suitable for pre-positioned and push-through installations and works with wood, chipboard and stud screws.
Choose screw types and lengths appropriate for the fixture and substrate; ensure the threadless part of the screw is not longer than the fixture when fixing boards. Clean drill holes and follow the recommended screw length formula for reliable anchorage.
