The Fischer DuoPower 8 x 65 expansion anchor is a dual-component nylon plug designed to provide secure fixing in a wide range of substrates including autoclaved aerated concrete, brick, concrete, masonry and plasterboard. Its grey nylon component adapts automatically to the base material by expanding, folding or knotting to create the appropriate hold, while the red expansion wings support secure anchoring. The plug has a preshaped edge on the head to prevent slipping into the drilled hole and allows correct screw insertion without over-tightening.

How to use

Drill a hole with an 8 mm bit to the required depth (minimum 75 mm). Clean the hole from dust. Insert the Fischer DuoPower plug flush with the surface so the preshaped head rests on the substrate. Place the screw appropriate for the application through the fixture and screw in until the plug activates its function (expansion, folding or knotting) and the fixture is held securely. Avoid excessive torque once the fixture is fixed to prevent damage to the substrate or anchor.

Usage recommendations

Use screws of the correct diameter and length for the load and fixture thickness. For hollow or soft substrates select appropriate screw types and check load tables in the manufacturer's technical documentation for safe working loads.
