Fischer 538622 Nylon Screw and Wall Plug Kit with 80 Pieces Including DuoPower 6x30 and DuoPower 8x40 for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete and Plasterboard

The Fischer nylon screw and wall plug kit provides a comprehensive fastening solution designed specifically for secure installations in autoclaved aerated concrete and plasterboard. Manufactured from durable nylon, this 80-piece set includes pre-sorted DuoPower screw anchors in sizes 6x30 and 8x40, accompanied by matching chipboard screws. Housed in a high-quality, impact-proof assembly box with a transparent lid, the kit ensures clear visibility and effortless organization for both professional workshops and household projects.

Advantages

The nylon screw and wall plug kit utilizes a smart two-component material construction that adapts automatically to the building material, delivering optimal load values across various substrates. Installers benefit from immediate tactile feedback, allowing them to feel precisely when the anchor is installed correctly. The short anchor length minimizes drilling depth for fast fixing, while the narrow rim prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole. Additionally, the integrated serrated anti-rotation feature stops the anchor from spinning during installation, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Suitable for

• Fastening wall units and shelving in autoclaved aerated concrete
• Hanging lightweight fixtures and mirrors on plasterboard
• General household maintenance and repair tasks
• Professional construction site and workshop installations

When it may not be suitable

This nylon screw and wall plug kit may not be suitable for heavy-duty industrial anchoring applications in high-density solid stone or reinforced concrete where specialized heavy metal anchors are required. It is also not recommended for direct underwater installations or environments subjected to continuous chemical corrosion without specific substrate compatibility testing.

Key specifications

• Material: Durable nylon
• Total quantity: 80 pieces
• Anchor types included: 50 units of DuoPower 6 x 30 and 30 units of DuoPower 8 x 40
• Compatible building materials: Autoclaved aerated concrete and plasterboard
• Packaging: Refillable assembly box with transparent lid

How to use

To use the nylon screw and wall plug kit, begin by drilling a hole into the target substrate matching the diameter and depth required for the specific anchor size. Clean the drill hole thoroughly of any dust and debris to ensure maximum friction and grip. Insert the DuoPower nylon anchor through the fixture and into the drill hole, tapping it lightly until it is flush with the surface. Drive the matching screw through the fixture and into the anchor, tightening it until firm resistance is felt, indicating that the two-component plug has securely expanded or knotted behind the wall.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the target wall substrate consists of autoclaved aerated concrete or plasterboard
• Check the required load capacity for your specific hanging or mounting application
• Ensure the included screw and anchor dimensions match the thickness of your mounting fixture
• Assess whether the 80-piece quantity meets the scope of your installation project

For optimal performance with the nylon screw and wall plug kit, always use the recommended drill bit diameter and maintain a clean drill hole free of dust.
