Screw & wall plug kit Fischer 540114
The fischer frame fixing SXRL-T, supplied with a fischer countersunk head screw with TX30 drive, is designed for multiple fixings of non-load-bearing systems in masonry, concrete and aerated concrete. The plug features two expansion zones that transmit forces evenly into perforated masonry and form a long expansion element in aerated and solid building materials. The safety screw is made of zinc-plated steel, and the system is suitable for interior frame fixings such as window frames, coat racks, wall cupboards and TV consoles.
The long expansion element with multiple anchorage depths makes the SXRL-T a versatile fixing for different substrate types. The plug’s special geometry distributes retention forces evenly within the drill hole. In both hollow and solid building materials the two expansion zones provide optimum load-bearing behaviour. When set deep, the longer ribs reduce the risk of the plug turning during installation.
Drill a hole of the correct diameter and depth for the 8 x 80 mm plug. Clean the drill hole of dust and insert the SXRL-T plug fully. Position the frame or fixture and drive the supplied countersunk head screw with a TX30 drive until the fixture is securely clamped. Ensure the plug is set to the required depth so the expansion zones engage in the substrate.
Use appropriate drill bits for the substrate type and follow recommended installation torque values. Do not use the fixing for load-bearing structural applications. For best results in perforated masonry or aerated concrete, ensure the drill hole is cleaned before insertion and select the correct anchorage depth according to the installation requirements.
