Screw & wall plug kit Fischer 540115
The Fischer frame fixing SXRL-T set combines long plastic anchors and zinc-plated steel countersunk safety screws with a TX30 drive for multiple non-load-bearing fixings in masonry, concrete and autoclaved aerated concrete. The anchor features two expansion zones that distribute forces evenly in perforated masonry and form a continuous expansion element in aerated and solid materials. Supplied as a kit of 50 long anchors (100 mm length, 8 mm diameter) in a storage box, the set is intended for interior applications such as window frames, coat racks, wall cabinets and TV consoles.
The long expansion element and multiple anchorage depths make this Fischer anchor versatile across different substrate types. Its special plug geometry ensures even distribution of retention forces inside the drill hole. Two expansion zones provide improved load-bearing performance in both hollow and solid building materials, while the longer ribs help prevent the plug from turning during deep installation.
This anchor set is designed for non-load-bearing interior fixings and is not intended for structural load-bearing applications or heavy dynamic loads. For heavy-duty or safety-critical fixings, a specialist load-rated anchor or professional assessment is required.
Drill a hole with the recommended 8 mm drill bit to the required depth, clean the drill hole from dust, insert the anchor fully and drive in the matching countersunk screw with a TX30 driver until the fixture is clamped. When installing in hollow or aerated materials, ensure the anchor expands fully by tightening the screw to achieve the necessary grip without over-torquing.
Use clean drill holes and the correct drill diameter; avoid over-tightening the screw to prevent damage to the anchor. For installations in hollow masonry, check that the anchor expands correctly and consider supplementary fixing methods for high lateral loads.
