The Fischer 564170 kit contains 25 plastic screw hooks and plugs that convert screws into round hooks for hanging items on a variety of substrates. Designed for use with screws up to 4 mm in diameter and a 6 mm drill hole, the set is suitable for autoclaved aerated concrete, brick, concrete, gypsum fibre board and plasterboard. The glass-fibre reinforced plastic construction provides high load capacity and a secure hold while the cover ring and cap offer a neat visual finish.

How to use

Place the EasyHook over the countersunk screw so the screw passes through the hook. Use a cordless screwdriver to drive the screw into the substrate; the hook can be installed without holding it manually. If needed for wood installation, break off the shaft area of the eye or round hook to facilitate insertion. Turn the hook left at the predetermined breaking point to release and align it, then tighten as required. The cover cap for the round and loop versions is fitted onto the screw head from behind. To remove the hook, use a cordless screwdriver or manual screwdriver to reverse the screw.

Usage recommendations

For best results, choose the correct anchor type for the substrate (DuoPower or DuoBlade where applicable) and observe the recommended drill diameter (6 mm) and minimum depth (40 mm). Do not exceed the specified screw diameter (4 mm). Align and tighten the hook at the predetermined breaking point to achieve the required distance from the wall and secure hold.
