The Fischer 564173 kit converts screws into eye hooks using attachable EasyHook adapters. The set contains 25 plastic parts designed for use with an 8 mm drill hole diameter and screws up to 5 mm. Made from glass-fibre reinforced plastic, the adapters provide a secure hold in a variety of substrates including autoclaved aerated concrete, brick, concrete, gypsum fibre board and plasterboard. EasyHook Round and Loop variants include a cover ring and cap for a neat appearance.

How to use

Insert the screw through the EasyHook adapter, position the adapter on the countersunk screw head and drive the screw into the substrate using a cordless screwdriver without holding the hook. For installation in wood, the shaft section of the eye or round hook can be broken off to simplify fitting. Turn the hook left to release it at the predetermined breaking point, align and tighten to the required position. Adjust the screw depth to set the distance between the hook and the wall. For EasyHook Round and Loop, place the cover cap on the screw head from behind. If removal is needed, extract the hook using a cordless screwdriver or screwdriver.

Usage recommendations

Choose the appropriate plug type (DuoPower or DuoBlade) for the substrate to ensure rated load capacity, and verify that screw diameter does not exceed 5 mm. When installing in hollow or thin materials, check substrate suitability and adjust screw depth for optimal load distribution.
