The Fischer screw anchor FAZ II Plus (MPN 564596) is a steel expansion anchor designed for demanding fixings in cracked and uncracked concrete, brick and other approved substrates. Supplied as a set suitable for M16 connections and 173 mm length, the anchor is zinc-plated steel and comes in a pack of 10 pieces. The FAZ II Plus combines high tensile strengths with versatile approval certificates and is intended for heavy-duty anchoring tasks where immediate load-bearing capacity and resistance to dynamic and seismic actions are required.

The FAZ II Plus enables faster and easier installation because drill hole cleaning is not required for sizes M8–M24, reducing installation time on site. How to use

Drill the hole to the specified diameter and depth for the chosen anchor length. For sizes M8–M24 no drill hole cleaning is required; insert the FAZ II Plus in pre-positioned or push-through installation as appropriate. For stand-off installation use the long thread variant. Apply the specified installation torque so the cone bolt pulls into the expansion sleeve and expands it against the drill hole wall; the anchor is set when the preset torque is reached. For series installations use the recommended setting tools (FABS or FA-ST II). For seismic installations, fill the annular gap as required with the filling disc (FFD). For dynamic applications use the dynamic set and subsequently fill it with approved injection mortar (compressive strength ≥ 50 N/mm², e.g. FIS V Plus, FIS EM Plus, FIS HB or FIS SB) after setting.

Usage recommendations

Follow the relevant ETA and product approvals for substrate and load case; use the recommended injection mortars and setting tools for series or dynamic installations. Verify anchor spacing, edge distances and embedment depth according to the approval documents. Do not exceed specified torque values and use appropriate corrosion protection if required by environment or project specifications.
