Fischer FFA 10 Aerated Concrete Anchor, 30 Pieces

The Fischer FFA 10 Aerated Concrete Anchor is a specialized fastening solution engineered specifically for use in aerated concrete, also known as autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC). This set contains 30 high-quality anchors designed to provide a secure and stable connection in porous building materials where standard wall plugs often fail. The design focuses on maximizing load-bearing capacity while ensuring that the integrity of the soft substrate is maintained during the installation process.

Advantages

The primary benefit of the Fischer FFA 10 is its unique geometry, which allows for a positive-locking connection within the aerated concrete. This ensures high pull-out resistance and reliable performance for various mounting applications. The material composition is resistant to aging and environmental factors, providing long-term durability for both indoor and outdoor installations. Furthermore, the installation process is straightforward, requiring minimal effort while delivering professional-grade results that meet the demands of both construction experts and DIY enthusiasts.

Suitable for

• Mounting wall cabinets and shelving units
• Installing electrical conduits and cable trays
• Fixing lightweight construction elements
• Attaching interior finishing components

This anchor is not intended for use in dense materials such as solid concrete, brick, or natural stone, as its expansion mechanism is specifically calibrated for the low density of aerated concrete. It is also not recommended for heavy-duty structural applications that exceed the load-bearing limits of the base material itself.

Key specifications

• Material: High-quality plastic
• Compatibility: Aerated concrete (AAC)
• Quantity: 30 pieces
• Installation type: Pre-positioned installation

To install the Fischer FFA 10, first drill a hole into the aerated concrete using the appropriate drill bit diameter. Clean the dust from the hole to ensure maximum friction. Insert the anchor into the hole until it is flush with the surface of the material. Once positioned, drive the corresponding screw into the anchor, which will cause the anchor to expand and lock securely into the porous structure of the wall.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the density and condition of your aerated concrete wall
• Ensure the screw diameter matches the anchor specifications
• Check the required drill bit size for the specific application

For optimal performance, always ensure the drill hole is free of debris and avoid using impact drilling modes, as this can damage the porous structure of the aerated concrete and reduce the anchor's holding power.
