Cable Clamp Fischer MNS 4-7 Grey
The Fischer MNS 4-7 cable clamp is a pre-assembled metal-and-plastic fastening for quickly securing electric cables and small cable bundles up to 7 mm in diameter. The clamp combines a moulded plastic saddle with a nail, allowing rapid single-step installation: position the clamp over the cable and drive the nail in with a hammer. Designed for use in wood, wood-based panels, gypsum boards, aerated concrete and vertically perforated brick, the clamp provides a practical solution for tidy cable routing in residential and light-commercial settings.
The MNS 4-7 is supplied pre-assembled for rapid installation, simplifying cable fixing without additional parts. Its metal nail ensures reliable anchoring in a range of substrate types while the plastic clamp protects cable insulation from damage. The compact 25 mm width and grey colour make it suitable for unobtrusive installation. Packs contain 100 pieces for larger jobs or multiple small installations.
Place the cable inside the plastic saddle of the pre-assembled clamp, position the clamp on the chosen substrate and hold it in place. Drive the nail fully into the substrate with a hammer until the clamp is secure and the cable is fixed. Ensure the nail is driven straight and the clamp sits flush to the surface to avoid damaging the cable insulation.
Choose the nail clamp size appropriate to the cable diameter and the substrate. For hollow or brittle substrates, check that the substrate provides sufficient holding power; if uncertain, use a suitable anchor or alternative fixing method. Avoid overtightening or deforming the clamp when nailing to preserve cable integrity.
