How to use

To use the Fiskars 124800 bow saw, ensure the workpiece is securely stabilized before cutting. Position the blade against the wood and apply gentle downward pressure while moving the saw back and forth along the cutting line. Let the teeth of the saw do the work without forcing the tool, maintaining a steady and rhythmic motion for optimal results. Always check that the blade tension is properly adjusted before starting your work.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the physical dimensions and weight suit your physical capabilities and intended tasks
• Ensure you have compatible replacement blades if you plan on heavy, continuous usage
• Confirm that the intended application involves cutting wood rather than alternative materials

For best results, store the bow saw in a dry place after use to protect the blade and frame, and periodically check the blade tension to maintain cutting efficiency.
