Brass elbow fitting Fitting SF51N-3/4 – 3/4" WW normal plumbing elbow
Brass elbow fitting Fitting SF51N-3/4 – 3/4" WW normal plumbing elbow
Brass elbow Fitting SF51N-3/4 is a 90° plumbing elbow designed for WW normal (hot and cold water) connections with a 3/4" nominal thread size. Manufactured from brass to provide corrosion resistance and mechanical stability, this compact elbow allows a reliable directional change in piping runs where space is limited. It is suitable for typical residential and light commercial water installations, repair work and rerouting in confined areas.
The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance and durability for potable water systems, while threaded connections enable quick installation and disassembly without soldering. Its 90° angle provides a compact solution for changing flow direction in tight spaces, and the standard nominal thread size ensures compatibility with common plumbing fixtures and fittings designed for 3/4" connections.
Prepare mating threaded pipes or fittings by cleaning threads and applying an appropriate thread sealant or tape rated for potable water systems. Hand-start the elbow onto the male thread, then tighten with a suitable wrench until secure, taking care not to overtighten to avoid thread damage. Align the elbow to the required orientation and confirm leak-tightness by pressurizing the system and inspecting joints for any signs of leakage. For disassembly, depressurize the line and reverse the assembly steps.
Use compatible thread sealants or PTFE tape designed for drinking water. Do not expose the fitting to aggressive chemicals or continuous temperatures beyond the limits recommended for brass plumbing components. Inspect threads for damage before installation and replace the fitting if any deformation is present.
