Gembird 3DP-ABS1.75-01-W is a white ABS filament for 3D printing, supplied in a 1 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter. Designed for use with a wide range of FDM 3D printers, this ABS material provides good toughness and high strength while remaining relatively low in density, which results in lighter large-volume prints. It offers reliable layer adhesion and is suitable for creating durable prototypes, functional parts and models.
The filament combines high mechanical strength with good toughness, enabling robust and impact-resistant prints. Its lower density reduces weight for larger objects. The 1.75 mm diameter and standard spool format make it compatible with most consumer and professional FDM printers.
Load the 1.75 mm ABS filament into a compatible FDM 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's instructions. Recommended printing settings vary by machine and part geometry; typical nozzle temperatures for ABS range from 220–250 °C with a heated bed set between 80–110 °C. Ensure good bed adhesion and consider using an enclosure to reduce warping for larger or detailed parts. Allow printed parts to cool gradually for improved layer bonding.
For best results, print with a heated bed and, if available, an enclosed build chamber to minimise warping. Adjust fan cooling and extrusion multiplier as needed for consistent flow. Store filament in a dry place and use desiccant after opening to prevent moisture absorption that can affect print quality.
