3D printer filament Flashforge PETW1 PETG 1.75 mm 1 kg — White
Flashforge PETW1 PETG 1.75 mm filament in white is a general-purpose thermoplastic filament supplied on a 1 kg spool for desktop 3D printers with 1.75 mm extruders. PETG offers a balance of strength, toughness and ease of printing compared with standard PLA and ABS, making it suitable for functional parts, mechanical components and prototypes that require good layer adhesion and moderate flexibility. The filament is intended for users who need durable prints with reduced brittleness and reliable extrusion performance on a broad range of FDM/FFF printers.
This PETG filament provides improved impact resistance and better chemical resistance than PLA while remaining easier to print than many ABS grades. It delivers consistent diameter and good bed adhesion on properly prepared print surfaces, reducing warping for most desktop setups. The white color gives a neutral finish suitable for post-processing such as sanding and painting. The 1 kg spool and standard winding ensure straightforward mounting on most consumer and prosumer spool holders.
Load the filament into a compatible 1.75 mm extruder following your printer manufacturer's instructions. Set the nozzle temperature within the filament's recommended range for PETG, tuning fan and retraction settings to reduce stringing and improve surface finish. Use a clean build surface and, if necessary, a heated bed set to moderate temperatures to minimize warping. Purge the nozzle until a steady, consistent flow of molten filament is observed before starting the print. Monitor the first layers and adjust bed leveling or Z-offset as needed to ensure good adhesion.
Store the spool in a dry, dust-free environment and preferably in a sealed bag with desiccant to maintain filament quality. For best results, optimize print speed, retraction and cooling parameters for your specific printer and part geometry; consider post-processing such as annealing, sanding or painting according to the chosen end-use.
