Flashforge PW1 is a white polylactic acid (PLA) 3D printing filament provided in a 1 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter. Designed for use with any brand of 3D printer, this PLA formulation targets reliable, easy-to-print performance with low warping and consistent dimensional tolerance. The material is biodegradable and includes anti-moisture additives to extend storage life while maintaining print quality.
The new upgraded formulation reduces common filament issues such as warping, curling and bubbles during printing, improving first-layer adhesion and overall surface finish. Manufactured from high-purity PLA in a dust-free workshop, the filament minimizes nozzle clogs and contamination. Diameter is controlled to within ±0.02 mm to ensure consistent extrusion and predictable results across extended prints. Anti-moisture components allow longer storage without rapid degradation of print performance.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's loading procedure. Suggested print settings for Flashforge PW1 PLA typically start with a nozzle temperature range of 190–220 °C and a bed temperature of 20–60 °C (or use an unheated bed with adhesion aid). Calibrate extrusion multiplier and first-layer height to match your printer and slicing profile. Store partially used spools in a dry, sealed container or vacuum bag with desiccant to preserve filament properties.
To maximize print consistency, keep filament spools in a low-humidity environment and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For large or long-duration prints, verify dimensional accuracy by printing a small calibration cube and adjust flow or temperature as needed. Use standard PLA cooling fan settings to improve overhang and bridge quality.
