The Fluke LinkIQ Network Tester verifies copper Ethernet cabling performance up to 10G and helps diagnose network connectivity issues. The unit supports RJ-45 connections and cable lengths up to 305 m and is powered by an internal 6400 mAh lithium-ion battery. The tester includes the main unit, seven remote IDs, a RJ45–RJ45 patch cord, AC charger, RJ45/11 universal coupler, Intellitone Pro 200 probe, and a carrying duffel.

Advantages

LinkIQ uses frequency-based measurements to validate maximum bandwidth from 10BASE-T to 10GBASE-T and confirms whether a link meets performance requirements. It provides nearest-switch diagnostics (advertised data rate, switch name, port number, VLAN information), PoE testing and an active load test up to Class 8 (90 W). How to use

Connect the LinkIQ main unit to the cable under test using the RJ-45 connector or the included patch cord and attach a Remote ID to the far end when required. Run an automatic test to measure frequency response and calculate maximum bandwidth; review reported link bandwidth, pair status and switch diagnostics on the device display. Use the PoE test mode to measure power availability and optionally apply an active load up to Class 8. Save and manage test results via LinkWare PC for documentation and reporting.

Usage recommendations

For reliable measurements, ensure connectors and terminations are clean and properly seated. Use the appropriate Remote ID for end-to-end validation and periodically sync results to LinkWare PC.
