Foma label DX Code ISO 400 12pcs provides adhesive DX code labels designed specifically for 35mm film cassettes. These labels enable photographers to correctly configure the film speed sensitivity of ISO 400 on compatible analog cameras that feature automatic DX code reading systems, ensuring accurate exposure throughout your photography workflow.
Using these adhesive labels allows you to easily update or add DX coding to unlabeled or hand-rolled film cassettes. They ensure reliable communication between the film cassette and camera electronics, minimizing exposure errors and saving time during manual camera settings adjustment. The precise layout fits standard 35mm canisters seamlessly.
These labels are not required when using factory-fresh film cassettes that already feature printed DX codes on the metal canister. They are also unsuitable for manual cameras that lack an automatic DX reading mechanism, as those devices require manual ISO selection via a dial.
Ensure the surface of the film cassette is clean, dry, and free of dust or oil before application. Carefully peel an adhesive DX code label from the backing paper and align it precisely with the designated area on the 35mm film canister. Press firmly across the entire surface of the label to ensure strong adhesion and prevent peeling inside the camera chamber.
For best results, apply the adhesive labels in a clean environment and ensure smooth contact with the cassette surface to prevent jams inside the camera back.
