Webbing Sling Forankra E-SNV302 — 3000 kg WLL, 2 m Length, Polyester Round Sling
Forankra E-SNV302 is a polyester webbing sling with a working load limit of 3000 kg and a length of 2.0 m, intended for vertical lifting, slinging and load securing in industrial and construction environments. The flat round-style construction provides flexibility and reduces pressure points on loads while offering resistance to abrasion. The sling is compatible with common lifting components such as hooks, shackles and spreader beams and is designed for repeated use where reliable load distribution and soft contact with fragile surfaces are required.
The polyester round sling delivers uniform load distribution and gentle contact with lifted goods, minimising damage to coated or finished surfaces. Its flat round design increases flexibility around load corners and irregular shapes, while the textile construction reduces the risk of scratching compared with metal slings. The material offers good abrasion resistance and retains strength under typical workshop and construction conditions. Lightweight and easy to store, the sling is suitable for repeated handling and quick rigging.
The sling is designed for vertical lifts only and is not intended for applications requiring choked or basket hitches unless explicitly rated for those configurations by the manufacturer. It is not suitable for lifts that involve cutting, severe abrasion beyond normal wear, or exposure to high temperatures or open flames, as polyester loses strength at elevated temperatures. Chemical exposure to strong acids, alkalis or solvents can also degrade the webbing and should be avoided.
Before each use inspect the sling for cuts, abrasion, chemical damage, or signs of overheating and remove from service if defects are found. Attach the sling to a suitable lifting hook, shackle or spreader beam ensuring the load is centred and the sling is not twisted. Operate lifts smoothly to avoid shock loads and keep personnel clear of suspended loads. After use, store the sling in a dry, shaded area away from chemicals and direct sunlight to prolong service life. Follow local regulations and manufacturer guidance for inspection intervals and retirement criteria.
Use protective edge guards or sleeves when lifting loads with sharp corners, perform routine inspections before each use, and adhere to statutory safety factors and local lifting regulations to ensure safe operation.
