Forankra lifting strap 5000 kg, 5 m model E-SNV505
Forankra lifting strap E-SNV505 is a 5-meter polyester lifting and lashing strap with a rated capacity of 5000 kg. Intended for vertical and choker hitch applications, the strap is designed to work with cranes, hoists and other load-securing equipment where a high-capacity textile sling is required. The textile construction offers low weight, good handling and adaptable routing around irregularly shaped loads while providing certified load-bearing performance for lifting and securing operations.
The polyester material provides resistance to abrasion and moderate UV exposure while maintaining flexibility and low elongation under load. Its 5 m length allows for versatile use on sites with a variety of lift heights and load dimensions. The lightweight sling improves ergonomics and reduces handling effort compared with equivalent steel solutions, and the flat profile distributes pressure across contact surfaces to reduce damage to packaged or finished goods.
Position the sling around the load so that the flat surface contacts the load evenly, avoiding sharp edges or points that could damage the strap. Select the appropriate hitch (vertical or choker) and attach to the crane hook or hoist according to the lifting equipment manufacturer’s instructions. Inspect the sling for visible wear, cuts, chemical damage or excessive abrasion before each use and do not exceed the rated working capacity of 5000 kg. Store the sling in a dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight and chemicals when not in use.
Use edge protection or padding when lifting loads with sharp corners, maintain regular inspection intervals according to applicable safety standards, and replace the sling if any damage or significant wear is detected. Ensure operators are trained in textile sling handling and that lifts are planned to remain within the specified working capacity and hitch type.
