Collet ER32 Ø16 mm – FORTIS TULEJKA ER32 FI 16 - 15 DIN6499
FORTIS TULEJKA ER32 FI 16 - 15 DIN6499 is an ER32 collet with a 16 mm nominal bore manufactured to DIN 6499 tolerances. It is intended for clamping cylindrical tool shanks in milling spindles, drilling heads and lathe toolholders, providing accurate concentric grip and repeatable positioning. The toolholder accessory is compatible with standard ER32 chucks and systems used in workshops and industrial machining centres.
The ER32 Ø16 mm collet offers secure, evenly distributed clamping force across the shank to minimise runout and vibration. Compliance with DIN 6499 ensures dimensional interchangeability with other ER32 components and predictable concentricity. The collet’s design delivers reliable grip over repeated insertions and removals, supporting consistent machining accuracy and reduced tool deflection during milling, turning and drilling operations.
Insert the 16 mm tool shank into the collet and assemble the collet into an ER32 nut or holder according to the machine manufacturer’s instructions. Tighten the collet nut to the prescribed torque to achieve full clamping engagement and concentric grip. After machining, loosen the nut and remove the collet for tool change or inspection. Regularly inspect the collet bore and clamping surfaces for wear or damage and replace when runout or grip quality degrades.
Use the collet with properly sized shanks—light burrs removed and correct surface finish—to ensure maximum concentricity. Apply the manufacturer’s recommended torque when tightening and avoid using damaged nuts or holders. Store collets in a clean, dry environment and check for wear before precision operations.
