Foscam T5EP is an outdoor dome IP security camera with a 5 MP sensor (maximum 3072×1728) and a fixed 4 mm lens. The camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af), H.264+ video compression and multicast streaming. It has day/night mode with IR illumination, wide dynamic range (WDR) imaging and an integrated microSD slot for local storage up to 256 GB. The housing is weatherproof with an IP66 rating and the device operates in temperatures from −20 to 50 °C.

How to use

Mount the dome camera on a suitable outdoor wall using the supplied screws and follow the installation guide. Connect the camera to the network via the included LAN cable; power can be supplied through PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or via the DC output specified. Configure network settings and streaming parameters through the camera web interface or supported apps on iOS, macOS or Windows. Insert a compatible microSD card to enable local recording and adjust motion/vehicle detection, alert settings and audio options as required.

Usage recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that provide an unobstructed view of the monitored area; avoid direct exposure of the lens to strong light sources.
