Ball Head Fotopro KII — compact camera ballhead, black, model FP-KII
Fotopro KII ball head (FP-KII) is a compact black camera ballhead designed to support and precisely position cameras and accessories on tripods. The ball head offers smooth multi-axis movement with a single locking knob for secure positioning. Quick-release plate compatibility enables rapid mounting and removal of cameras, while a compact footprint and lightweight construction make the head suitable for travel and everyday use.
The compact design minimises bulk while maintaining stable support for mirrorless cameras, DSLRs and small video cameras. A single locking knob simplifies adjustments and reduces setup time, and the quick-release compatibility speeds up switching between handheld and tripod-mounted shooting. The black anodised finish provides corrosion resistance and discreet appearance in studio and field environments.
Attach the ball head to a tripod by screwing the base onto the tripod head mount thread until secure. Fit a compatible quick-release plate to the camera, slide the plate into the head's clamp and lock it in place. Use the main locking knob to loosen the ball joint for positioning; move the camera to the desired angle and tighten the knob firmly to lock the position. For panning, use the base or any dedicated pan control if available and adjust tension as necessary before shooting.
Ensure the quick-release plate is correctly seated and locked before releasing the camera from your hand. Periodically check and tighten mounting screws and the locking knob to maintain stability. Keep the ball joint clean and avoid exposing the head to prolonged saltwater or corrosive environments. Use the compact ball head with cameras and lenses within its load capacity to preserve smooth movement and safe support.
