MILC Body Fujifilm X-E5 Kit XF23mmF2.8 R WR 40.2 MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR
The FUJIFILM X-E5 is a modern classic rangefinder-style mirrorless camera that combines a refined machined-aluminum body with analog-style controls and advanced imaging technology. It features a 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor with improved low-light performance and a native ISO 125, a powerful five-axis in-body image stabilizer, an EVF with Classic Display and Surround View modes, and a Film Simulation dial with three user-customizable positions. The compact, tactile design emphasizes intuitive handling and a high-quality finish.
The machined aluminum top-plate and anodized finish provide a durable, premium look and improved dial operation. A new Film Simulation dial with precision-cut indicator and programmable FS1–FS3 positions lets you save custom color recipes. The camera offers a high-resolution 40.2MP sensor that preserves signal-to-noise ratio, advanced subject-detection AF with deep-learning models, up to 7.0 stops of IBIS in the center, and versatile video recording up to 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit. Compact size and ergonomic controls keep you focused on image making.
Hold the X-E5 with one hand on the grip and operate the analog dials with the other to access shutter speed, exposure compensation, and the Film Simulation dial. Use the Front Control Lever to enable Surround View in the EVF when you need to monitor outside the frame. Select AF modes and subject-detection settings in the menu—set BIRD for insect detection and AIRPLANE for drone detection. For stabilized handheld shots, rely on the five-axis IBIS; combine with appropriate shutter speeds for best results. Record video directly to an SD card, choosing the desired resolution and codec in the recording settings.
Use native ISO 125 when lighting allows to maximize image quality and dynamic range. Save frequently used film recipes to FS1–FS3 for quick access. When shooting moving subjects, enable the latest AF algorithms and Zone AF for improved tracking. For low-light handheld photography, engage IBIS and prefer lenses with wider apertures to complement stabilization.
