Instant Camera Fujifilm Instax mini 12 Pink 62 x 46 mm
The Fujifilm Instax mini 12 Pink is a compact instant camera that produces credit-card sized photos of 62 x 46 mm. It combines automatic exposure control with a built-in flash and a simple mechanical operation to deliver ready-to-share prints in about 90 seconds. The camera has a twist-activated lens with a dedicated Close-up mode for short-distance shots, a selfie mirror for framing self-portraits, and an electronic shutter with speeds ranging from 1/250 s to 0.5 s. Powered by AA batteries and finished in a pink body, the Instax mini 12 is intended for casual photography where immediate physical prints are desired.
The camera automatically adjusts shutter, flash brightness and exposure according to ambient light, enabling consistent results in varied lighting conditions without manual settings. Close-up mode is engaged by twisting the lens, providing optimal focus for subjects at 30–50 cm. The integrated selfie mirror and reliable flash support better-framed portraits and selfies, while the short print development time gives near-instant tangible photos. The straightforward controls and AA battery power make the device easy to use and maintain on the go.
Load compatible film packs and insert fresh AA batteries before first use. Turn the camera on by twisting the lens barrel; twist again to switch to Close-up mode for subjects at 30–50 cm. Frame using the optical viewfinder and, for selfies, align your face using the built-in selfie mirror. The camera meters ambient light and sets shutter speed and flash automatically; press the shutter button to expose a photo, which will develop as a physical print in about 90 seconds. Turn the camera off by returning the lens to its original position.
For best image results, use fresh film and replace batteries when flash output appears weak. Maintain a subject distance appropriate to the selected mode (use Close-up for 30–50 cm). Avoid direct bright sunlight on the print during development and allow the exposed print to develop face-up on a flat surface. Clean the lens and viewfinder with a soft, dry cloth to preserve image sharpness.
