Rack server FUJITSU PY TX1330M6 8xSFF, 2x500W power supplies
Product description is under construction. Specify the parameters, price and delivery options before buying!
The FUJITSU PY TX1330M6 is a compact rack/tower server designed for small and medium business environments that require reliable compute and flexible storage. Configured with eight SFF drive bays and dual 500W redundant power supplies, this server supports hot-swap drives and offers increased uptime through power-supply redundancy. Its form factor and balanced specification make it suitable for file services, small application hosting and modest virtualization workloads in offices and branch locations.
The server’s eight SFF drive bays provide flexible storage configurations, allowing a mix of capacity and performance drives or use of RAID arrays. Hot-swap capability simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime when replacing drives. Dual 500W redundant power supplies improve availability and help maintain operation during a single PSU failure. The compact rack/tower design supports deployment in space-constrained racks or as a standalone tower, and the configuration is optimized for energy-efficient, continuous operation.
Install the server into a compatible 19-inch rack or set it up as a tower in a secure equipment area. Populate the SFF drive bays with supported HDDs or SSDs according to the desired capacity and performance, configure RAID as required by your storage policy, and connect network and power. Use the system firmware and operating system tools to configure RAID, monitor health of drives and power supplies, and install the operating system and server applications. For continuous operation, enable monitoring and alerting for component faults.
For optimal reliability, use enterprise-class drives in RAID configurations and maintain regular backups. Ensure both 500W power supplies are connected to separate power circuits or UPS units where possible to benefit from redundancy. Apply firmware and system software updates during planned maintenance windows and monitor drive and PSU health to reduce service interruptions.
