Metal band saw blade G-MAN BiM 200 x 19 x 0.9 mm 10/14 TPI
Metal band saw blade G-MAN BiM 200 x 19 x 0.9 mm 10/14 TPI
Bi-metal band saw blade G-MAN BiM 200 x 19 x 0.9 mm with a dual tooth pitch of 10/14 TPI, designed for cutting metal sheets, pipes and other solid materials with thicknesses from 5 to 10 mm. The blade is suitable for both portable and stationary band saws that accept 200 x 19 x 0.9 mm blades and is compatible with cutting stainless steel and workpieces containing nails.
The bi-metal construction combines flexible backing steel with high-speed steel teeth for improved wear resistance and longer life under intermittent and continuous cutting. The 10/14 TPI tooth configuration delivers a balance between cutting speed and finish on a range of metal thicknesses. With a blade length of 200 mm, width 19 mm and thickness 0.9 mm, it fits standard compact band saws and offers stable tracking and reduced vibration.
Install the blade into a compatible band saw following the saw manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct tension and tracking. Use appropriate cutting speed and feed for the material type—slower speeds for stainless steel and harder alloys, higher speeds for softer non-ferrous metals. Apply suitable coolant or cutting lubricant when recommended to extend blade life and improve cut quality. Inspect the blade for damage or excessive wear before each use and replace when teeth are worn or damaged.
For best results, select the 10/14 TPI blade when you need a compromise between cutting speed and surface finish on 5–10 mm metal sections. Use cutting fluid on stainless steel or heat-sensitive alloys and follow safety guidelines for band saw operation, including eye and hand protection.
