Massage Duo-Ball by Gaiam — double lacrosse-style massage ball, blue
Gaiam Massage Duo-Ball is a double lacrosse-style massage ball designed for targeted myofascial release and deep-tissue self-massage. The two connected balls create a narrow channel between them that fits along the spine and contours of the body, enabling controlled rolling over muscles to address knots, trigger points and localized tension. Its compact size and firm surface make the Duo-Ball suitable for use during home workouts, physical therapy sessions and post-exercise recovery routines.
The connected twin-ball design provides consistent pressure on parallel muscle groups while protecting bony areas such as the spine. Made from firm, resilient material, the massage ball delivers deep tissue stimulation without excessive deformation. Its lightweight and portable construction allows for convenient storage and transport, and the textured surface supports grip and prevents slipping during use.
Place the Duo-Ball on a flat surface or between your body and a wall, positioning the channel between the two spheres along the area to be treated. Apply body weight gradually and roll slowly to locate tight spots and trigger points. Adjust pressure by shifting more or less weight onto the ball or by changing body position. For spinal use, keep the balls parallel to the spine so the vertebrae rest in the center channel while the muscles on either side receive pressure.
Use sessions of one to three minutes per area, repeating two to three times as needed. Avoid direct pressure on bony prominences and acute injuries. Consult a healthcare professional if you have chronic pain, recent surgery or specific medical conditions before beginning regular self-massage routines.
