Description

The GARDENA PowerSaw Black is an 18V battery-powered chainsaw with a 25 cm Oregon® bar and a 3/8" low-profile chain (1.1 mm / 0.043" gauge). Driven by a brushless motor, it delivers a chain speed of 8 m/s and is intended for hobby gardening, tree care and firewood cutting. The tool is part of the POWER FOR ALL 18V ALLIANCE; battery and charger are sold separately. A 3-year warranty is offered after registration at gardena.com/registration (batteries and chargers excluded).

Advantages

The brushless motor provides low noise, reduced maintenance and consistent cutting performance. The Oregon® 25 cm bar and 3/8" low-profile chain with Chamfer Chisel cutters and a 0.043" narrow-kerf design improve cutting efficiency while requiring less power. Ergonomic handle design and a lightweight construction (approx. 3.8 kg) increase user comfort. Safety features include an Oregon® chain brake and a metal chain catcher. Built-in LubriTec automatic oiling and toolless chain tensioning reduce upkeep and downtime.

How to use

Install a compatible 18V POWER FOR ALL battery (sold separately) and ensure the chain is correctly fitted and tensioned using the toolless tensioning system. Check the LubriTec oil reservoir and fill if necessary. Hold the saw with both hands on the ergonomically designed handles, start the motor and make controlled cuts with steady feed pressure. Use the chain brake to stop the chain immediately if the cut is interrupted. After use, switch off the saw, remove the battery and clean the bar and chain; follow the user manual for detailed maintenance instructions.
