It integrates seamlessly into any coffee preparation workspace, helping to keep your counter clean and efficient while handling portafilter disposal with ease.

Advantages

This barista coffee box offers a robust construction combining stainless steel and black elements, ensuring long-lasting durability in demanding environments. The generous 1.5-litre capacity allows for extended use between emptyings, making it suitable for both home baristas and busy coffee preparation stations. Its rectangular shape optimizes counter space utilization, while the stable design ensures it stays firmly in place during use.

Suitable for

• Disposing of used coffee grounds from espresso machine portafilters
• Home coffee bars and enthusiast setups
• Professional barista workstations
• Maintaining a clean and organized coffee preparation area

When it may not be suitable

This knock box may not be ideal for ultra-compact kitchen spaces where counter area is extremely limited. Additionally, heavy commercial environments with very high continuous output may require a larger standalone knock tube or built-in disposal chute rather than a 1.5 L countertop box.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 1.5 L
• Form factor: Rectangular
• Colour: Black and stainless steel
• Application: Coffee grounds disposal

How to use

Place the GASTROBACK 99000 Barista Coffee Box securely on your countertop near your espresso machine. After extracting your espresso, gently tap the portafilter against the knock bar to release the used coffee grounds directly into the 1.5 L container. Empty and rinse the container periodically as part of your regular workspace maintenance routine.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify available counter space to ensure the rectangular dimensions fit comfortably alongside your espresso machine
• Assess your daily coffee volume to determine if the 1.5 L capacity meets your disposal needs
• Check compatibility with your existing coffee setup and workflow preferences

Usage recommendation: Empty the contents of the knock box regularly and wash the removable components with mild soap and warm water to prevent residue buildup and maintain optimal hygiene in your coffee preparation area.
