The GBC Standard A4 1.5mm White 100 ThermaBind™ covers provide a quick way to create perfect-bound A4 documents with a paperback-book appearance. Each pre-formed ThermaBind™ cover includes a high-contact adhesive spine and a 150-micron transparent front sheet for clear viewing of the title page. Choose a white back cover (Standard, Optimal or PET) or an embossed LinenWeave™ or LeatherGrain™ finish to match the document style and company image. These covers are sized for A4 (210 × 297 mm) and designed to produce secure, permanently bound pages without holes, tapes or fasteners.

ThermaBind™ covers use a high-contact adhesive that penetrates paper fibres to form a strong, durable spine suitable for filing, stacking and mailing. The transparent 150-micron front ensures easy reading of the title page while the selection of back covers and embossed finishes allows visual and tactile customization. The binding process is fast, clean and does not require additional consumables such as holes, tapes or clips.

How to use

Insert the assembled document pages into the ThermaBind™ cover so the title page is visible through the transparent front. Place the cover into a compatible GBC ThermaBind™ binding machine and run the thermal cycle according to the machine instructions. After heating, allow the bound book to cool so the adhesive sets and penetrates the paper fibres. Once cooled, the pages will be permanently bound into a secure spine ready for filing or mailing.

Usage recommendations

For best results, limit the content to the recommended sheet capacity for a 1.5 mm spine (approximately up to 15 standard sheets) and ensure pages are aligned before binding. Use the appropriate back cover and finish to match the document’s purpose and recipient expectations.
