Wrench Set Gedore 761-10 Durable Steel Construction
Wrench Set Gedore 761-10 Durable Steel Construction. The set includes a pre-set torque wrench type TSP SLIPPER designed for controlled screw tightening in the common torque range of 1–10 N·m. It is intended for assembly work requiring low and precise torque values, for example in electronic hardware and precision mechanics. The wrench has a 1/4" square drive with ball locking device, an integrated ratchet function for controlled clockwise tightening, and a precision mechanism that gives a clear audible and tactile click when the pre-set torque is reached. The instrument is designed to DIN EN ISO 6789 and is traceable to national standards; it is lightweight, robust, corrosion-resistant and supplied with a test certificate and packaging.
The torque wrench offers factory or user pre-setting on suitable torque testers and an automatic reset to the starting position after slip activation. Working accuracy is ±6% of the set torque, preventing over-tightening by slipping noticeably when the preset value is reached. The non-slip rubber handle improves handling and the tool is EPA-conformant for use in electrostatic-sensitive environments. Delivery includes a special adjusting key for changing the pre-set value, a test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6789, and sturdy cardboard packaging.
Confirm the required torque value within the 1–10 N·m range and, if necessary, have the pre-setting applied at the factory or set it using a suitable torque tester and the supplied adjusting key. Fit the appropriate 1/4" accessory onto the square drive and apply clockwise torque until the wrench emits a clear click; this indicates the preset torque has been reached and the mechanism slips to prevent further tightening. After each slip the mechanism returns automatically to the starting position. Follow the included test certificate and calibration instructions for traceability.
Use the wrench primarily for low-torque precision work in electronics and precision mechanics. For repetitive production use, verify pre-setting and recalibrate on an appropriate torque tester periodically. Specify the exact N·m value when ordering if you require a fixed factory pre-setting.
