The Gedore 1400150 manual screwdriver is a precision adjustable torque screwdriver designed for controlled screw tightening in the range 0.08–9 N·m. It combines a lightweight 165 g body with a non-slip rubber grip and an adjustable micrometre scale for accurate, repeatable tightening operations. The tool is EPA-conformant for use in electrostatic-sensitive areas and is supplied with a 1/4" square/hexagon drive adapter and a test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6789.
Adjustable torque control with a clear scale provides actuation accuracy of ±6% of the set value and traceability according to DIN EN ISO 6789. The precision radial ball clutch and cam mechanism ensures controlled bi-directional tightening and a distinct slip when the set torque is reached, with automatic resetting to the starting position. The Positive-Lock system prevents accidental changes to the set torque. Lightweight construction, ergonomic non-slip handle and compatibility with 1/4" hex bits or, via adapter, 1/4" square-drive sockets make the tool versatile for serial production and quality-control tasks.
Select the required torque on the micrometre scale, secure the setting using the Positive-Lock system, fit a compatible 1/4" hex bit or the supplied adapter for square-drive sockets, and apply steady rotational force until the mechanism slips indicating the set torque has been reached. The tool resets automatically after slipping; repeat the procedure for subsequent fastenings. For models with an additional sliding T-bar, use the T-bar to improve leverage when required.
Use the Gedore 1400150 in clean, dry conditions and within its specified torque range. Verify settings periodically against the supplied test certificate and recalibrate according to your quality-management procedures. Avoid using the tool beyond its rated torque range to maintain accuracy and mechanism life.
