Manual screwdriver Gedore 1471457 weight 280 g
Controlled screw tightening in the range 0.04–13.6 N·m using a manual torque screwdriver designed for precision tasks in electronic industry, precision mechanics and industrial manufacturing. The tool provides a constant tightening value for serial production and is supplied with a 1/4" female hex drive compatible with 1/4" hex bits (DIN 3126 - C 6.3). An adaptor is included to allow use with 1/4" square drive sockets (DIN 3124). The screwdriver is lightweight with anodised aluminium handgrips and can be factory preset to a specific torque value or adjusted by the user on a suitable torque tester. A test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6789 is supplied.
The screwdriver offers accurate, repeatable tightening with a working accuracy of ±6% of the set torque and traceability according to DIN EN ISO 6789. Its precision radial ball clutch and cam design provide controlled bi-directional tightening and cause the mechanism to slip clearly when the preset torque is reached. The automatic reset to the starting position and the option of a removable T‑bar on model 755-05 enhance ease of use. Robust construction and supplied adaptor increase versatility for different bit and socket types.
Select or confirm the required torque setting for the task. If a fixed factory setting is required, specify the desired N·m value at order; otherwise set the torque on a suitable torque tester before use. Fit a matching 1/4" hex bit or use the supplied adaptor for 1/4" square sockets. Apply the screwdriver to the fastener and turn until the mechanism slips clearly at the preset torque; the tool then automatically resets to the starting position. For extended access or leverage, model 755-05 offers an additional removable T‑bar.
Use a calibrated torque tester to verify and, if necessary, adjust the preset torque. Store the screwdriver in its original packaging or a protective case and avoid impacts to maintain accuracy. For applications requiring certified traceability, retain the supplied test certificate.
