Torque Wrench Gedore 1703749
The Gedore 1703749 torque wrench is a compact, mechanical tool designed for precise torque application in industry, automotive work and confined spaces. It conforms to DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 standards, features a small drop-shaped head and a fine-toothed ratchet mechanism with lever change and push-button release. The wrench is made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and is chrome-plated for durability. It is compatible with hand-operated sockets and accessories with a 1/4" (6.3 mm) square drive according to DIN 3120 / ISO 1174 and includes a ball locking device.
The torque wrench offers a very small return angle of 9 degrees, enabling use in restricted areas. Its fine-toothed ratchet and push-button release provide precise control when changing direction or accessories. A non-slip two-component handle with a hanging hole improves grip and handling. The tool’s lightweight, compact dimensions (approximately 95 g weight, 25 mm depth, 20 mm height) make it easy to handle and store.
Select a socket compatible with the 1/4" square drive and attach it using the ball locking device. Set the required torque according to the tool’s scale if applicable, then apply force steadily until the torque setting is reached or the wrench indicates completion. Use the lever to change ratchet direction and release sockets using the push-button. Operate the wrench within its rated torque range and avoid sudden impacts.
Store the torque wrench in a dry place and release any set torque before long-term storage. Avoid using the tool as a breaker bar or applying torque beyond its specified range. Periodically check calibration according to workplace quality requirements.
