Socket wrench Gedore 1812564 Weight 24 g Package depth 11 mm Package height 11 mm
The Gedore 1812564 socket wrench is a compact extension with a ball end and ball locking device, designed for use with hand-operated sockets that have a square drive according to DIN 3120 and ISO 1174. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with a polished, chrome-plated finish, it allows the attached socket to pivot up to 15° while remaining securely locked in place.
This extension offers a low weight (24 g) and a compact form factor (11 mm package depth and height) that make it suitable for precision work in tight spaces. The ball locking device ensures reliable retention of sockets during operation, and the chrome-plated vanadium steel construction provides corrosion resistance and long service life.
Select a compatible hand-operated socket with the correct square drive and attach it to the extension until the ball locking device engages. Use the extension to reach fasteners at angles up to 15°, keeping steady pressure to maintain socket engagement. After use, wipe the chrome-plated surface clean and store in a dry tool case to prevent corrosion.
For safe and durable performance, avoid using the extension with powered impact tools and do not apply torque beyond the rating of the connected hand tool and socket. Inspect the ball locking mechanism periodically for wear and replace the extension if the ball no longer secures sockets reliably.
