Combination wrench Gedore 2297132
The Gedore 2297132 combination wrench is a precision hand tool designed for reliable fastening and loosening of nuts and bolts. It features a flat, UD-profile with the same size at each end and a hollow shaft that provides comfortable handling and high torque transfer. The wrench is hot-forged from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and finished with matt chrome-plating; important working surfaces such as the locking insert and pawl are manganese-phosphated for durability. Jaw faces are ground exactly to spanner size and the geometry is warp-resistant with a double T-girder effect. When combined with adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (ordered separately), model 7 R can be used as a bit ratchet. A European patent has been applied for this design.
The flat UD profile and identical size at each end ensure consistent fit and accessibility in confined spaces. A working angle of 7° for sizes 8–15 mm, 6° for 16–27 mm and 5° for 30–36 mm facilitates precise incremental movement. The hollow profile and optimized geometry deliver high torque transfer while remaining comfortable to hold. High-quality Gedore 31CrV3 vanadium steel construction, matt chrome finish and manganese-phosphated locking parts increase resistance to wear and corrosion. Hot forging and exact jaw grinding ensure dimensional accuracy and long service life.
Select the correct size of the Gedore 2297132 combination wrench for the fastener. Place the jaw over the nut or bolt head and use the ratchet end for incremental tightening or loosening where access is restricted. For ratchet-bit operation, attach adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (sold separately) according to the adaptor instructions, then operate the wrench as a bit ratchet. Apply steady, controlled force and avoid sudden impacts to protect the tool and fastener.
To maintain performance and service life, keep the jaws clean and free of debris, inspect the locking insert and pawl periodically for wear, and store the wrench in a dry place. Do not use the tool as a hammer or pry bar and avoid excessive torque beyond the tool’s intended capacity.
