Combination Wrench Gedore 2297361
The Gedore 2297361 Combination Wrench combines an open-end spanner and a ratcheting box end in a single tool. It has a 70 mm depth, 45 mm height and weighs 218 g. The box end features a UD profile with a 13° ring offset from the shaft and a working angle that is 7° for sizes 8–15 mm and 6° for sizes 16–24 mm. Made of Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with matt chrome plating, the tool is hot forged and finished with ground jaws to match the spanner size.
The ratcheting mechanism provides fast tightening and ratchet loosening with a lever-change function, enabling efficient operation without removing the wrench from the fastener. The hollow-profile shaft offers comfortable handling while maintaining high torque transfer. Warp-resistant geometry with a double T-girder effect increases stability. Surface treatments include matt chrome plating for a non-glare finish and manganese-phosphated locking insert and pawl for improved wear resistance.
Select the correct wrench size for the fastener. Place the open-end on the nut or bolt for initial turning or use the box end for ratcheting operations. Use the lever-change on the ratchet end to switch between tightening and loosening directions. For confined spaces, use the ratcheting box end to work with minimal swing. If using as a bit ratchet, pair with adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (sold separately) according to the adaptor instructions.
Inspect the wrench before use for signs of wear or damage. Use appropriate sizes to avoid rounding fasteners and apply steady force within the tool’s intended torque range. Store dry to avoid corrosion and follow safety practices for hand tools.
