Socket Wrench Gedore 2306751
The Gedore 2306751 socket wrench is a thin-walled, flat-pattern UD-profile tool designed for ratchet loosening and quick tightening. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and hot forged, it features matt chrome-plating for a non-glare finish and manganese-phosphated locking insert and pawl for improved wear resistance. Its compact construction and refined U-20 ratchet mechanism provide precise engagement with a working angle of 7° for sizes up to 14x15 mm and 6° for sizes from 16x17 mm to 18x19 mm. The wrench weighs approximately 80 g and is compatible with adaptor no. 7 RA or 7 RB (ordered separately) to function as a bit ratchet when combined with spanner no. 4 R.
The socket wrench combines a stable hollow shaft design with an improved ratchet mechanism for reliable performance in confined spaces. Thin-walled, flat profile construction allows access in narrow gaps while the matt chrome finish reduces reflections. High-grade 31CrV3 vanadium steel and hot forging increase strength and durability. Lightweight and compact dimensions make it easy to handle and store.
Select the correct size socket wrench for the fastener and engage the ratchet on the drive. Use the ratchet mechanism for loosening or the pawl for fast tightening with manual force. For operation as a bit ratchet, attach adaptor no. 7 RA or 7 RB and combine with spanner no. 4 R as required. Ensure the locking insert is fully engaged before applying significant torque.
Inspect the tool for wear or damage before use. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid applying torque beyond the tool's intended capacity. Clean and lightly lubricate the ratchet mechanism periodically to maintain smooth operation and long service life.
