Socket wrench Gedore 2306786
Flat-pattern, thin-walled UD-profile socket wrench designed for ratchet loosening and fast tightening. The tool is hot-forged from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and features matt chrome-plating for a non-glare finish; the locking insert and pawl are manganese-phosphated. The wrench combines a stable hollow shaft (size no. 7) with the refined mechanism of the U-20 ratchets and can be used as a bit ratchet when paired with adaptor no. 7 RA or 7 RB (adaptors sold separately).
The thin-walled UD-profile allows access in confined spaces while maintaining strength thanks to the vanadium steel construction. Matt chrome-plating reduces reflections and improves corrosion resistance; manganese-phosphated locking components enhance wear resistance. The flat pattern and compact profile support precise engagement and efficient torque transfer for both loosening and fast tightening tasks.
Select the correct socket size for the fastener and fit it onto the ratchet square or adaptor as required. For standard ratcheting operations, use the wrench for controlled loosening and quick manual tightening, observing the working angle limitations for optimal engagement. To use as a bit ratchet, attach adaptor no. 7 RA or 7 RB (sold separately) and fit the appropriate bit. Apply steady, even force and avoid exceeding the tool’s intended manual torque to prevent damage.
Regularly inspect the matte chrome finish and the manganese-phosphated locking parts for wear or corrosion; clean and lightly lubricate the ratchet mechanism periodically to ensure smooth operation. Use compatible adaptors for bit functionality and store the tool dry to prolong service life.
