Gedore DMSE 200 Torque Wrench Gedore 200 Nm
The Gedore DMSE 200 torque wrench is an adjustable, releasing tubular wrench designed for controlled screw tightening in a common working range. It covers torque values from 20 to 400 N·m (15 to 300 lbf·ft) and is intended for industry and trade applications where precise bi-directional tightening is required. The tool features a robust varnished tubular steel construction with a zinc-plated rectangular cavity and an ergonomic plastic handgrip with a calibration aid.
Classified to DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017 Type II Class A and supplied with a traceable test certificate, the torque wrench is calibrated to a maximum permissible deviation of ±3%, which is more accurate than the ±4% required by the standard. It has a micrometre scale for fine setting of interim values, a change-over between N·m and lbf·ft scales to reduce setting errors, and a release system that gives a tactile and audible signal when the set torque is reached. The wrench also includes an ergonomic torque-adjustment system with a reference symbol and a secured adjusting/setting mechanism.
Select the appropriate end fitting with a standardized depth gauge and attach it to the torque wrench's rectangular cavity. Set the required torque value using the main N·m scale and, if needed, the micrometre scale for interim values; switch to the lbf·ft scale when using imperial units to avoid reading errors. Apply the wrench in the correct direction for tightening; the release system will trigger a tactile and audible signal when the preset torque is reached. For access reasons, use front insertion (for example open-end fitting) or side insertion (for example reversible ratchet and socket) depending on the application.
Operate the torque wrench only with end fittings that have standardized depth gauges to maintain accuracy. Avoid using non-standard attachments, and follow the calibration interval recommended by the manufacturer to ensure continued compliance with the ±3% tolerance.
