Socket Wrench Gedore 8156
The Gedore 8156 socket wrench is a hand tool designed for working with non-insulated contacts that have an open crimping sleeve, such as flat plugs F 2.8, F 4.8, F 6.3 and F 9.5. Manufactured from GEDORE special steel with a gun-metal finish, it combines a sturdy construction with precise torque transfer for reliable performance in electrical and mechanical tasks.
Easy to handle with formed, kind-to-hands handles and a releasable positive locking mechanism. The tool’s GEDORE special steel construction and gun-metal finish provide durability and resistance to wear while maintaining precise fit and function. Designed to work with a range of contact sizes, it supports controlled crimping and connection tasks.
Position the non-insulated contact with the open crimping sleeve into the appropriate jaw or slot that matches the contact and wire cross-section. Squeeze the handles evenly until the releasable positive locking engages, ensuring a secure crimp. Release the lock to open the tool and remove the crimped contact. For larger wire sizes, select the corresponding application range marked on the tool to obtain the correct compression.
Use the Gedore 8156 only with non-insulated contacts that match the specified flat plug types and wire cross-sections. Inspect the tool before use for wear or damage and keep handles clean to maintain a secure grip. Do not use the tool on insulated terminals or for cutting hardened materials.
