Combination Wrench Gedore 6001640
The Gedore 6001640 combination wrench is a high-quality hand tool designed for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts. It conforms to DIN 3113 Form B, ISO 3318 and ISO 7738 standards and features a 10° offset ring for improved access. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with a chrome-plated finish, the wrench combines strength with a slim wall profile for use in confined spaces. The ring side is extra strong; sizes 5 and 5.5 mm are supplied with a hexagon ring, while sizes from 6 mm use a UD profile.
The chrome-plated 31CrV3 vanadium steel construction provides durability and corrosion resistance. The 10° offset ring improves access to fasteners in tight or recessed locations. A thin wall profile allows better reach into narrow fittings while the extra-strong ring increases load capacity and reduces the risk of rounding fasteners. Conformance to DIN and ISO standards ensures dimensional accuracy and interchangeability.
Select the correct wrench size for the fastener and place the open end or ring over the nut or bolt. For improved access in tight locations use the ring end with its 10° offset. Apply steady force, keeping the wrench aligned with the fastener to avoid slippage. When working in confined spaces, use the thin-wall side to reach recessed heads. After use, wipe clean and store in a tool drawer or rack to protect the chrome finish.
Use the wrench within its intended size and torque limits; avoid applying excessive impact or using it as a hammer. Regularly inspect the ring and open end for wear and replace the tool if deformation or rounding is visible to maintain safe and accurate operation.
