Combination Wrench Gedore 6001800
The Gedore 6001800 combination wrench is a hand tool for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts. It complies with DIN 3113 Form B, ISO 3318 and ISO 7738, with a 10° offset ring and an extra-strong but thin-walled ring profile. The wrench is made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and is chrome-plated; sizes 5 and 5.5 mm use a hexagon ring and sizes from 6 mm use a UD profile. The tool measures 88 mm in depth, 44 mm in height and weighs 210 g.
The combination of a 10° offset ring and a thin-wall extra-strong ring provides good access in confined spaces while maintaining strength. Chrome plating resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning. Conformance to DIN and ISO standards ensures dimensional compatibility with standardized fasteners. The use of Gedore 31CrV3 vanadium steel delivers durability and wear resistance for repeated use.
Select the correct size of the Gedore 6001800 to match the nut or bolt head. Place the open end or the ring over the fastener and apply steady, controlled force to turn clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. Use the 10° offset ring to improve access and reduce obstruction when working in tight spaces. Avoid using the wrench as a hammer or prying tool to prevent damage to the thin-wall ring profile.
Use the wrench with appropriate hand force and avoid excessive torque beyond the fastener or tool rating. Keep the tool clean and lightly oiled after use to maintain the chrome finish and prevent corrosion. For stubborn or rusted fasteners consider applying penetrating lubricant first and use appropriate safety measures.
