Combination Wrench Gedore 6080840
The Gedore 6080840 combination wrench is manufactured from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with chrome plating and complies with DIN 3113 Form A, ISO 3318 and ISO 7738 where applicable. It features a 15° offset ring end relative to the shaft and a shaft arranged in a girder pattern. Sizes up to 5.5 use a hexagon ring; from size 6 the ring uses a UD profile. One size variant is noted as not standardised.
Chromium-plated 31CrV3 vanadium steel construction provides high strength and corrosion resistance. The 15° offset ring improves access in confined or angled spaces. The girder-pattern shaft offers a slim, rigid profile that aids maneuverability. Available ring profiles (hexagon and UD) ensure compatibility with different fastener types.
Select the correct wrench size matching the fastener. Place the ring end fully over the nut or bolt head. For improved access use the 15° offset ring to approach the fastener at an angle. Apply steady torque using the shaft; avoid sudden impacts. For high-torque applications use appropriate torque-measuring tools and avoid exceeding recommended loads for hand wrenches.
Inspect the wrench for wear or deformation before use, keep it clean and dry, and store in a tool roll or cabinet. Do not use the combination wrench as a hammer or lever extension and avoid applying excessive force beyond hand-tightening limits.
