Combination Wrench Gedore 6081140
The Gedore 6081140 combination wrench is made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) with a chrome-plated finish. It meets DIN 3113 Form A and ISO 3318 / ISO 7738 standards for offset ring wrenches where applicable, with a 15° ring offset and a shaft in a girder pattern. Sizes up to 5.5 feature a hexagon ring, while sizes from 6 use a UD profile. The tool combines a ring end and an open end for general mechanical use and is compact and lightweight for easy handling and storage.
Chrome-plated vanadium steel construction provides strength and corrosion resistance. The 15° ring offset improves access to fasteners in confined spaces. Combination of ring and open ends increases versatility for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts. Compact dimensions (37 mm depth, 21 mm height) and low weight (11 g) make the wrench easy to handle and store.
Select the correct size of the combination wrench for the fastener. Fit the ring end over the nut or bolt head for a secure, full-contact grip or use the open end where quick placement is needed. Use the 15° offset to approach fasteners from an angle when clearance is limited. Apply steady torque within the tool’s mechanical limits; avoid using the wrench as a hammer or extending the handle with cheater bars.
Keep the wrench clean and dry after use and store in a tool tray or rack to prevent corrosion and damage to the chrome finish. Inspect the ring and open ends for rounding or wear before use. For heavy torque requirements, choose an appropriately sized or higher-capacity tool.
