Combination Wrench Gedore 6090480
The Gedore 6090480 combination wrench is a compact hand tool conforming to DIN 3113 Form A, ISO 3318 and ISO 7738. It has a 60 mm wrench depth and 30 mm height, weighing 58 g. The open ring is offset 15° from the shaft and the shaft is produced in a girder pattern. Sizes 3 to 5.5 use a hexagon ring; sizes from 6 use a UD profile. Made of Gedore vanadium steel 31CrV3 with chrome plating; note that one variant is not standardised.
The wrench is manufactured from 31CrV3 vanadium steel and chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and durability. Its 15° offset ring improves access in confined spaces. The combination of ring and open-end profiles covers common fastening tasks while keeping the tool lightweight at 58 g. Compliance with DIN and ISO standards ensures consistent dimensions and fit for compatible fasteners.
Select the correct wrench size for the fastener. Place the ring end or open end onto the nut or bolt head, ensuring full seating to avoid rounding. Apply steady torque in the required direction; use the offset ring to reach fasteners in restricted spaces. Inspect the tool and fastener seating before applying full force and avoid using the wrench as a hammer or pry bar.
Keep the chrome-plated surface clean and dry after use to minimise corrosion. Store the wrench in a tool rack or pouch to maintain the girder shaft geometry and protect the ring profile. For high-torque applications, use a correctly sized tool and avoid extensions unless rated for use.
