Combination wrench Gedore 6092420
The Gedore 6092420 combination wrench is a durable hand tool manufactured from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and chrome-plated for corrosion resistance. It conforms to DIN 3113 Form A, ISO 3318 and ISO 7738 standards, with a 15° offset ring end and a shaft arranged in a girder pattern. Sizes 3 to 5.5 feature a hexagon ring profile; sizes from 6 use a UD profile. The ring profile marked with an asterisk is not standardised.
The wrench offers a hard-wearing vanadium steel construction and chrome plating for extended service life and easier cleaning. Precision-engineered jaws provide a secure fit on fasteners and the 15° offset ring allows improved access in confined spaces. The girder-pattern shaft enhances strength while keeping the tool relatively light for its class.
Select the correct wrench size for the fastener, position the ring or open end squarely on the nut or bolt, and apply steady torque. Use the 15° offset ring to reach fasteners in restricted areas by flipping the wrench as needed. Avoid using the wrench as a hammer or pry bar and do not apply extensions (cheater bars) that exceed the tool's intended torque.
Keep the wrench clean and dry; wipe off grease after use and apply light lubrication to prevent corrosion. Inspect jaws regularly for wear and replace the tool if deformation or rounding of the working ends is detected. Store in a tool rack or pouch to protect the chrome finish.
